DescriptionThe Amati model AAS 83P is a professional Eb Alto Saxophone. The bell, bow, body and neck are fabricated with a proprietary nickel-silver alloy, which provides the instrument with unique tonal characteristics. Thanks to the special alloy, the annealing process it undergoes, the large bell and the design of the neck, this model delivers a penetrating, distinctive sound while still being extremely "free-blowing". Its superior intonation throughout all registers eliminates the performing artist's need for pitch correction, which makes this horn well-suited for professional players, as well as serious amateurs for Jazz, Pop and Dance music performances. The tri-point bell brace and solid connecting rings attest to the rigid construction for which the Amati factory is known. In addition, the keywork is of superior design with the introduction of double arm bell keys, which prevent twisting or distortion of the cups as well as adjustable upper and lower keywork for precise regulation and smooth action. Sophisticated hand engraving provides this Saxophone with impressive looks, making this model a true world-class instrument. All instruments are fully hand-crafted and individually regulated by the most skilled and talented craftsmen and technicians. A variety of finishes are available, which offer a wide range of tonal colors to meet each player's specific demands. Specifications
